Native American Women in Elective Office

Summary
  • Of the 98 women serving in the 113th Congress, none is Native American.
  • Of the  75 women serving in statewide elective executive offices, two are Native American. See statewide office.
  • Of the 1,784 (includes fact sheet addendum as of 4/25/13) women state legislators serving nationwide, 13 are Native American. In addition, one woman is a non-voting member in the Maine legislature. See state legislatures.
