Total number: 1,784 (1,037D, 632R, 10NP, 4Prg, 2I), 24.1%

Alabama
Adline C. Clarke (D-97) won a state house special election to fill a vacancy.

New Hampshire
Karel Crawford (R-Carr-4) won a state house special election to fill a vacancy.
Pamela Brown (D-Hill-31) won a state house special election to fill a vacancy.

Alabama's rank is still 47th at 14.3%.
New Hampshire is still ranked 5th at 33.0%

Women of Color
Of the 1,784 women state legislators, 367, or 20.6%, are women of color. They include 91 senators and 276 representatives; 345 are Democrats, 21 are Republicans and one is a non-partisan.

Of the 367 women of color state legislators, 242 (237D, 4R, 1NP) are African American.
