NEW Leadership™ New Jersey
took place on June 4 - 9, 2009
at the Eagleton Institute of Politics, on the
New Brunswick campus of Rutgers, the
State University of New Jersey.

NEW Leadership™ is CAWP’s national initiative to educate and empower the next generation of women leaders. NEW Leadership™ teaches college women the value of civic engagement and encourages them to see themselves as empowered leaders who can effectively participate in politics and public policy.

The NEW Leadership™ Development Network currently includes 18 colleges and universities across the country. To date, more than 3500 students from over 21 states have participated in regional NEW Leadership™ programs for college women, as well as the flagship program in New Jersey.
