NEW Leadership™ New Jersey - June 4 - 9, 2009

I was overjoyed to be selected, and the experience taught me more in six days than I could’ve learned in a year on my own.
The NEW Leadership™ New Jersey summer institute is an exciting residential program designed to educate college women about politics and encourage them to get involved in the political process. Each year approximately 35 students from colleges and universities across New Jersey are selected to attend.
During the NEW Leadership™ New Jersey summer institute students will:- Meet with successful women leaders to discuss politics, public policy and the importance of women’s leadership.
- Participate in skills-building workshops on networking, public speaking and strategic communication.
- Network with a diverse group of women who share a commitment to shaping the public agenda and making a difference in their communities.
- Practice leadership through action.
